But as you will see in this blog are the emotions that I go through each and every day- in and out of the lifestyle. This is to show how much I've grown and bonded with my Daddy, how I've dealt with 'the world", and how I dealt with people in the BDSM lifestyle; Enjoy.

What BDSM means to me. Part One.....

I found this Submissive Journal on Wire Club and had very interesting questions. So here it goes. This will be in four parts, since this is so huge. Here we go:

What is submissive?

Google Dictionary:
1. Ready to conform to the authority or will of others; meekly obedient or passive.

Dictionary.com
1. inclined or ready to submit; unresistingly or humbly obedient.
2. marked by or indicating submission.

How are subs and slaves different?

Well if we are going by definitions, it is very different. Subs are humble and oblige to do things for their Master's and Mistress's, while slaves aren't so willing. There is more of a bond between slave and Dom/Domme's than submissives, in my mind. To me submissives need to be told what to do, while slaves know what their Master's/Mistress's needs.

What does being a Dominant mean to you?

A true dominant to me, is one who can respect others in this lifestyle and back off when someone says they are owned. A true dominant doesn't come striding in (chat rooms) mostly, and demands a slave to obey them. A true dominants cool and collective when a slave(theirs) get out of hand and knows how to deal with them. Knows what kind of punishment/rewards they should get. Also caring for the sub/slaves as well. That means taking care of them after punishments or ailments.

What does a Dom do in D/s relationships?

Well in general, they are suppose to take care of the sub/slave. Know when to punish/reward them and support them, such as financial, spiritual, etc.
A sub/slave is depending on the Dom to take care of them, guide them, mold them to what they want them to be. We are suppose to give our lives to them, and trust them that they will protect us, no matter the cost.

What are a Dom's responsibilities?
1.It is the responsibility of a Dominant to insure an unowned submissive is guided to a Dominant that is suited to the submissive's wants, needs and desires.
2.It is the responsibility of a Dominant to insure the submissive knows what being abusive is. To insure this is to insure the submissive knows when to call it quits.
3.It is the responsibility of a Dominant to ensure the submissive knows what the submissive's rights are.
4.It is the responsibility of a Dominant to teach the submissive information about the Lifestyle

What does submissive mean to you?

Well it means you will submit meekly, willingly, and that you want do do it. You wait for your Master/Mistress to tell you what to do.

What are a subs responsibilities?

1.Never expect to have your dominant live your life for you.
2.Keep up with your own personal self-growth.
3.Take responsibility for your life.
4.Don't be afraid to let your Dominant know when you are having a bad day.
5.Take care of your health.
6.Listen to your gut.
7.If you don't feel comfortable talking with your Dominant or a trustworthy friend, keep a journal.
8.Never forget that as you serve your dominant, you should also feel just as special and treasured in return.
9.Be responsible for your own personal happiness.

What does a sub do in the D/s relationship?

A subs roles are to take care of her Master and do it meekly and willingly. They want to please them but also they want some kind of reward in the end. It isn't like a slave and Master type, it is how they can please their Master and then see what kind of rewards they get.It is also in my mind, not a lifetime commitment, it can be temporary and most will leave after a time of being in the lifestyle.

What will you gain personally from D/s relationship?

I gain from this relationship a huge bond from my Master. I am very pleased to be his slave, and proud to be called his slave as well. I do what he wants without him telling me, and it gives me the pleasure to do this. I love seeing him pleased and content, and him having the control in the relationship. The love, understanding between us builds more and more,as the years go on.
